My Portfolio

For this being one of my first artworks I was really happy with how it turned out. I think my artwork looks like some many thoughts put into one piece of paper.
when I was searching online I saw something like this online but wanted to add my own work to it. my only goals for this piece was just to take my time and really try with this.

I made a gnome pinata it was made using cardboard for the base and I used paper for the outside and color. for this being my first time making a pinata it was super fun and what I think the hardest part was the first because i started with a balloon and it popped 2 days in a row, after that I switched to cardboard. This project was really fun because I personally prefer when I make stuff with my hands instead of drawing on a paper. I would 100% do make another pinata again.

I used a pencil, ruler, and an eraser, and used the ruler to make orthogonal lines.I made 2 vanishing with my pencil. and erased the orthogonal lines with the eraser.

clay project

I used clay for the body and I pinched around to make the bowl shape. I really wanted to emphasize the super long neck so I also put texture on the hair. For this being my very first sculpture I wanted to make it have some use around my house. I'm going to use this as my key, wallet,id,ect holder.

Acrylic Landscape Painting
For this bob Ross painting I used acrylic paint for everything but I used different techniques on it like dabbing, wet on dry, color gradient, and using many other methods.

realistic graphite
The reason I chose Chadwick Boseman was because he looked fun and different from all of the feminine features we practiced. some difficulties were drawing the face shape because most of his chin is covered with hair. one of my favorites was making his turtle neck because I like the look of them. this was my first time making a portrait and it was very difficult but I thought it was pretty fun .
Monster stuffy
For this project we got pictures from 3 graders at Rowe lane and had to recreate this with thread and felt. I mostly used the running stitch for the body but for the hats I used back-stitch. Something that i wanted to do was really take my time because we are giving this to kids, another thing i did differently was put aluminium wire in the neck to make it flexible. this was by far my hardest project that took lots of hours but it was also my favorite project and im so excited to give this to my kid and see there smile.

Linoleum Block Printing
In this project we used linoleum pad and then used different gouges and chisels to carve out a shape. once we were done carving we used a roller and printed ink to paste the ink picture on a paper

In this project we used linoleum pad again and then used different gouges and chisels to carve the star tarot cards. once we were done carving we used a roller and printed ink to paste the ink picture on paper. i really liked the look of the star tarot and it means hope, renewed power, and strength to carry on life
